Responsibilities:
He/She is responsible for directing and planning all aspects of supply chain initiatives, policies, and objectives. The person will oversee the inventory, distribution, and transportation activities. In addition, he or she will be responsible for directing and overseeing the supply chain management team in order to optimize manufacturing and distribution. Other duties include overseeing the development of the supply chain budget, reviewing the operating performance with quality, cost, and service metrics, and collaborating with quality, customer service, and sales departments to maintain the consistency of supply and demand objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities
? Manage team of 10 international supply chain professionals located in regional markets to work with a multi-billion-dollar ODM to deliver products.
? Translates business strategies into day-to-day operational execution with the ODM keeping in mind business priorities. Implements and maintains planning process for the Supply Chain.
? Develop and improve supply chain processes and practices in accordance with Aviation and Electronics policies, standards, regulations, or laws in a way that best achieves the organization’ s objectives.
? Identify opportunities for Distribution and Supply Chain process improvements and support management that enable optimization of customer service, cost and cash.
? Accountable for material planning to achieve target inventory turnover while minimizing negative customer impacts due to material shortage or delays.
? Executing a continuous improvement program for all supply chain functions.
? Standardization and optimization of Procurement, distribution and facility-based supply chain activities
? Maintain a vendor base that is in line with the company’s/brands supply chain strategy and guidelines.
? Manage the financial aspects of supply chain operations which includes P+L responsibility.
? Responsible for Inventory Control oversight, ensuring appropriate controls and practices are established to maximize inventory accuracy (quantity and value) to meet customer expectations.
? Responsible for achieving delivery and quality standards on locally sourced and globally supplied materials.
? Identify and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions by developing comprehensive risk management strategies and contingency plans.
? Monitor geopolitical factors, regulatory changes, and technological advancements that could impact the supply chain.
? Builds and maintains effective working relationships with various levels in the organization.
Requirements:
? Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in business, MBA, Supply Chain Management, Management.
? 15+ years related experience in Operations management experience, with a focus on Electronics delivery and a track record of improving operations and reducing costs.
? APICS certifications are highly valued.
? Demonstrate aptitude for connecting disparate types of information including planning, procurement, distribution, manufacturing, regulations, product development, and statistical methods.
? Systems thinking/mindset, including the ability to create an understanding of a larger system by examining linkages and interactions between components.
? Experience in the auto or electronics related business
? Demonstrate ability to provide an inclusive workplace that fosters the development of others.
? Develop & Implement Strategic Supply Chain contingency plans (primary & secondary supplier network)
